# Learner Onboarding Done Right — Featuring Duolingo

From time to time, we like to take a look at the learning experiences other organizations are creating to help sharpen our own edge in instructional design and user experience.

Recently, we took a look at [Duolingo](https://www.duolingo.com), the innovative, free language learning app. From a learner experience standpoint, there is much to appreciate about Duolingo, but we were especially impressed with a seamless onboarding process that gets you involved before you commit.
